Pakistan Industrial Associations Front (Piaf) vice-chairman, Mian Abuzar Shad has said that some unwanted elements were spoiling the business friendly atmosphere in the country and making the gas crisis more complicated for their ulterior motives. He expressed these views while talking to a delegation of Township Industrial area here on Tuesday, disclosed a Piaf's spokesman here on Tuesday. Chairman Township Industries Association, Nasrullah Mughal and senior vice-chairman Khawaja Shahzad Nasir also attended the meeting.

He further said that these elements want to push the country to the wall, which was put on right track by Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz. He was of the view that production cost was already very high in the country only because of higher utility rates and Pakistani goods fail to compete at international market only because of this reason.

He demanded of the government to ensure safety of sensitive installations for ensuring uninterrupted supply of gas to the industrial units.
